Straight to your device
Video streams to your browser with bounded memory use. The download backend limits media to 256 MiB and each operation to 10 minutes; the source and your connection also affect availability.
YouTube · TikTok · Instagram · X
Save video and audio from four platforms in HD, straight to your device. No account, no app to install.
Video extraction and downloads are temporarily unavailable. Please try again once the download service is connected.
How it works
The same flow on every platform, whether you are on a phone or a laptop.
Step 1 · Copy
Use Share → Copy link in the app, or copy the address straight from your browser's address bar.
Step 2 · Paste
Drop the link into the field and select Extract. VidFetch reads the video and lists every format the source publishes.
Step 3 · Save
Choose a resolution or MP3, then select Download. The file streams straight into your browser's downloads.
Each guide covers the links that work, what you can save, and the limits that platform applies.
Why VidFetch
Save the videos you own or have permission to download, without juggling sketchy sites.
Video streams to your browser with bounded memory use. The download backend limits media to 256 MiB and each operation to 10 minutes; the source and your connection also affect availability.
You see the exact formats the platform publishes for that video, with codec and estimated size, instead of a fixed menu that fails halfway through.
ffmpeg merges separate video and audio tracks into a clean MP4 and encodes genuine MP3 audio — never a renamed video container.
Media files are streamed, not archived. Operational metadata may be retained as described in the privacy policy; download titles and links are never published.
Private, deleted or login-gated posts and interrupted transfers are reported in plain language. A download is marked complete only after the streaming operation succeeds.
A long-running Node.js server handles extraction and streaming, so large downloads aren't cut off by a serverless execution window.
On copyright: VidFetch hosts no media of its own. Files are fetched from the source platform at the moment you ask for them and streamed to your browser. Download only what you own or have permission to save — see the terms of service.
What VidFetch does, what it keeps, and where the limits are.
Yes. VidFetch is free, needs no account and shows no advertising. You paste a link, choose a format and download the file.
YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). VidFetch handles individual videos, Reels, Shorts and share links, but not profiles, hashtags or photo-only posts.
No. VidFetch only reaches content that is publicly available to an anonymous visitor. Private accounts, deleted posts, login-gated media and region-blocked videos are reported as unavailable.
No media files are kept. Video data streams through the server to your browser. Limited technical details such as the link, title, chosen format and transfer status are recorded so the service can be operated and debugged. They are never published on the site.
Extract the link, open the Audio tab and pick MP3. The soundtrack is encoded with ffmpeg into a real MP3 file rather than a renamed video container.
The download backend limits output to 256 MiB, declared media duration to 30 minutes and the whole operation to 10 minutes. One operation runs at a time. Extraction and downloads are temporarily unavailable on this frontend until its secure download service is connected.
It depends on the content and where you live. Only download videos you own, that are licensed for reuse, or that you have the rights holder's permission to save. Public visibility alone is not permission.
